6.2. Sending invites
To send invitations to contacts:
- Click the Invite Contacts button at the top-right of the Invitations page.
- A pop-up window will appear with the following options:
Step 1: Choose a Template
- Select the email template you wish to use for the invitation.
- Templates can be added to Main Menu -> Marketing -> Templates.
Step 2: Set Email Subject
You can set the email subject of the invitation email.
Step 3: Choose the Sending Email
- Select the SMTP Email Account to send the invitation from.
- This ensures the invite is sent from the correct organisational email address.
Step 4: Select Source
You can send invitations based on either Reports or Contact Interests.
Option A – Based on a Report:
- Choose Report as the method.
- Select a report from the dropdown. Only reports with ContactGUID as an output are available (similar to the Bulk Contact Saved Reports page).
Option B – Based on Contact Interest:
- Choose Interest as the method.
- Select one or more contact interests from the dropdown list.
Step 5: Invite Again (Optional)
- Tick the Invite Again? checkbox to resend invitations to contacts who have already received an invite.
- Leave unchecked to send invitations only to contacts who have not yet been invited.
Step 6: Send Invitations
- Click Submit to dispatch the invitations.
- Once sent, the invited contacts will immediately appear in the Invitations list on the page.
