1.2. Sending emails with attachments
The Email Service (Mandrill) RubiCRM provides allows you to send attachments.
Mandrill does not explicitly state a limit on attachment file name length; however, there is an effective cap of 70 characters (including the file extension).
For example, in order to send the attachment titled "Distribution100 - The How to Guide of RubiCRM Emailing Functionality.pdf", the file name would need to be shortened to "Distribution100 - The How to Guide of RubiCRM Emailing Functionali.pdf". Otherwise, Mandrill will automatically rename it to “attachment”.
If sending more than one attachment and those two attachments exceed the file name limit, resulting in being renamed "attachment", Mandrill will only deliver one of the files, as it requires each attachment file name to be unique.
