Membership Type Specific Information

You can configure default settings for specific membership types. To do this, navigate to:
Main Menu → System → Lists → Member Types list.

For each membership type, you can set:

  • Default Boosts – Specify boosts that should appear on all Value Statements for this membership type.

  • Value Statement Minimum Savings/Value – Define the minimum savings or value a member must achieve above their Membership Amount before monetary savings are displayed on their Value Statement. This is governed by the Use Safety Net setting.

    • Leave this field as 0.00 to use the generic Minimum Value Of Savings To Display To User setting instead.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Define clear titles and labels – Ensure all headings and fields are easily understandable.

  • Leverage the minimum savings threshold – Display monetary value only when there is meaningful savings to show.

  • Include only relevant items – Limit Sale Services and Default Boosts to what’s applicable to avoid confusion.

  • Use membership-specific Default Boosts – Highlight tailored benefits for higher-tier members, such as "Logo advertised at all events" or "Logo advertised on email signature".
